About Air Flight Charters and Bahamas Charter Flights

In the 1970’s, the draw of Bahamas clear blue water, beautiful beaches and glassy waves created a demand for reliable Passenger Airplane Charter Service to Bahamas Islands.  The founders of our operation started up weekly charter flights from Florida to Treasure Cay and Marsh Harbour in the Abacos, Harbour Island, North Eleuthera and Governor’s Harbour on Eleuthera, Chub Cay in the Berry Islands, Fresh Creek, San Andros, Mangrove Cay and Congo Town on Andros Island, Nassau, Bimini, and Staniel Cay in the Exumas Bahamas to meet this demand. In 1987, “Air Flight” was incorporated as an FAR Part 135 US Air Carrier with main hub at Fort Lauderdale International Airport.  Bahamas Charter Flights is owned by Air Flight.  Ever since, we’ve been offering safe, reliable, private air charter services to all of the Bahama Islands plus Turks & Caicos, Cuba and other Caribbean Islands and throughout the SE United States. 30+ years of success can be attributed to great clientele that keep returning to us each year, our relationships with boutique hotels, resorts, home owners, the Bahamas ministry of tourism and the dedication of our team to providing exceptional, reliable, customer-friendly charter service.  We’re known in the Bahamas as the go-to “Anywhere, Anytime!” air charter service.

Meet the Owner, Chris Allen

Born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma, Chris began his flying career in 1987 when he attended the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.  Chris has piloted airplanes to every continent in the world including the South Pole.  He’s held many distinguished positions for the U.S. Air Force including Presidential Support Pilot, Nuclear Airlift Pilot and Antarctica Pilot, and he was the personal pilot for the Chief of Staff United States Air Force.  After his career in the Air Force, Chris accepted a position flying Boeing 737s for Delta Airlines. Chris is the proud parent of three daughters, is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fly-fishing, free-diving and relaxing in the sun!
